Two current staff council member’s terms will end on June 30, 2013. Therefore, nominations for staff members to fill these vacant spots are now being accepted.
Please open the nomination ballot link below, which lists all eligible staff and place a mark in the box next to the individual(s) names you would like to nominate for the positions. Staff Council Ballot_6-7-13
Each staff member is allowed to select two people and self-nominations are allowed. Please note that this a 3-year term and all staff council members must be full time employees of the College. Please submit all ballots to Kristie Law either by e-mail (email@example.com) or in hardcopy format to her office in Room 206 by Friday, June 21st.
The Staff Council will hold a Staff Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 25th in CTW 405, 1:30-2:30 pm, so that we can discuss issues affecting our college and vote on the new Staff Council members.

Created by the UK Women’s Forum, the Sarah Bennett Holmes Awards have been among the most esteemed recognitions bestowed at the University of Kentucky. The award recognizes two female UK employees, one faculty member and one staff member, for their contributions to issues that affect women at UK and across the commonwealth. All nominees will be recognized during the annual Sarah Bennett Holmes Awards luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Frank Harris Grand Ballroom of the Student Center. Luncheon reservations are open until Friday, March 1.

The 2013 Staff Retreat is currently scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2013. The morning session will take place in The Commons, CTW 127, and the afternoon session is still being decided on.
